Since my last whinge-fest, Bank of America sent my debit card to my father's house back in Australia. When I rang up to ask for one to be sent to me, they had no record of ever sending one out, and promised to send me one to my work address.
Today, I receive an email from my father (in Australia) telling me that he's received another one.

I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble with BofA. I can say (I have a Los Angeles home branch) that their online banking / bill pay service is outstanding, and they have always responded well when I have had disputed payment situations. As well, I had my ATM and Credit Card stolen and taken to Vegas recently, and they were extremely helpful there as well. All in all my card/card number has been swiped 3 times; I have never lost a dime and always received my new cards promptly.
They did the same thing to me -- all my cards and cheques were sent to my parents' house in England, rather than my new house in San Francisco.
